No School Buses Monday - Thousands Of School Kids Will Be Hit

A realisation of how serious Auckland’s bus disruption will be from Monday comes when you count how many schools rely on bus services provided byalbnay 019 NZ Bus and how many thousands of students use those services.

Besides general public transport used by students of all ages, there are school bus service provided by Metrolink, GO West , Waka Pacific and North Star and these will be impacted from Monday morning if the dispute continues as likely at this stage.

This also comes as a critical time for senior students who are nearing end of year internal and external examinations, as are tertiary students.

If parents transport the students by car instead, this will add to the heavy road transport woes.
